Event Details

  • The League of Michigan Bicyclists, Michigan Trails and Greenways Alliance, Programs to Educate All Cyclists, and Michigan Mountain Biking Association are joining forces again to advocate for issues key to all bicyclists.

The day will start with a short road rally ride to the State Capitol where volunteers will educate legislators on policy issues with the goal of wholistically making Michigan bicycle-friendly for all riders.

Lucinda Means Bicycle Advocacy Day is hosted annually in honor of Lucinda J. Means, League of Michigan Bicyclists’ (LMB) first paid Executive Director. Lucinda was a vigorous advocate for bicyclists and worked tirelessly to promote and improve bicycling throughout Michigan.
