Blue Water Ramble


Blue Water Ramble is a St. Clair River tour with varying mile options; 25-50-65-100-miles. The ride takes a ferry to Harsens Island. The 100-mile route takes a trip to the Blue Water Bridge.

This Metro Detroit favorite is a cool St. Clair River ride from Algonac to Port Huron, presented by the Clinton River RidersThe Ride Starts at Algona High School

There are 4 ride distances to choose from 25, 50, 65 and 100. All get to ride on the Harsens Island ferry. The 25 mile route is exclusively on Harsens Island, and is designed for those who want less miles and less traffic. The 50 and 65 mile routes are on some beautiful low traveled roads in the Algonac area. The 100 mile route goes up to Lakeport includes some skyline views , and challenging hills.

Packet pick-up and routes open at 7:00am and close at 4:00pm. All cyclists riding the 100 mile route start no later than 8:00am, all other cyclists must start no later than 10:00am.

Sag wagons are available to assist riders on ALL routes during the day, they make a final sweep of all routes at 4:00pm. 

Lunch and Rest Stops: Each rest stop will include food, drink, restrooms and assistance ,if needed. The main rest stop is at the end of the ride, and will host the Pig Roast and vegetarian lunch option. All rest stops and the high school will close at 4:30 p.m. T shirts are available for sale online with Active, or by mail with your registration.

Harsens Island Ferssing Crossing: Transportation across the St. Clair River by commercial ferry to Harsens Island is included.
